One of the most prevalent, damaging, and difficult skin conditions for both men and women of all ages is acne. Treatment planning isn’t any easier.

Try Epiduo Gels and see the difference.

Epiduo Gels contain a powerful combination of 2 acne medications—adapalene (Differin) and benzoyl peroxide—to help treat acne.

After 12 weeks of Epiduo therapy, 21.5% to 47.2% of individuals reported improvement in their acne. Their skin became either clear or almost clear.

Now you can get generic Epiduo and generic Epiduo Forte at Marley Drug Pharmacy for a fraction of the cost of the brand!

What is Epiduo and Epiduo Forte?

Epiduo and Epiduo Forte are prescription medications in a gel format and used to treat acne in those 9 years of age or older, including adults. They can treat both inflammatory acne as well as comedonal acne. You can only get Epiduo Gels with a prescription.

A Powerful Combination

Epiduo and Epiduo Forte contain the same active ingredients—adapalene and benzoyl peroxide. Both gels contain the same percentage of benzoyl peroxide at 2.5%.

The difference lies in the concentration of adapalene. Epiduo contains 0.1% adapalene, whereas Epiduo Forte contains a higher concentration of adapalene at 0.3%

Adapalene

Adapalene is a retinoid drug. It blocks the formation of blackheads and whiteheads by helping to remove dead skin cells and clear pore blockage, and prevent future breakouts.

Adapalene is comparable to vitamin A as it promotes skin renewal and reduces inflammation associated with moderate and severe acne. Epiduo Forte contains a higher concentration (0.3%) of adapalene compared to Epiduo Gel (0.1%).

Benzoyl Peroxide

Benzoyl peroxide is an antibacterial that helps to neutralize bacteria that are responsible for acne breakouts. Both Epiduo and Epiduo Forte contain the same amount of benzoyl peroxide (2.5%).

A Fraction of the Cost at Marley Drug!

Epiduo and Epiduo Forte became generic in 2017. Most medications, when they go generic, see a substantial drop in price due to increased competition on the market, however, pharmacies keep the cost high, close to the price of the branded product, to turn more profit.

At Marley Drug, we do things differently. We provide wholesale prices— that means we price the medications based on what it costs us to buy them.
